start up = c:\logo.sys
wait = c:\windows\logow.sys
ok to shut down windows = c:\windows\logos.sys

So if you wanted earth2.sys to be your startup logo screen, rename it to logo.sys and move it to your c: drive.

These files can be viewed with Windows Paint or any other graphics program.
