Aloe?
I haven't seen any flowers on this one. It may not be an Aloe.
The individual plants can get up to 8 inches wide, low growing, lots of pups, and can take full shade or lots of sun. It seems to like being on the dry side. Lots of pups.
This clump is on a slope beside the house and gets bright, indirect light all day and semi-regular watering.
