raise - send a signal to the current process
SYNOPSIS

int raise(int sig);
DESCRIPTION
The
raise()
function sends a signal to the current process.
It is equivalent to

kill(getpid(), sig);
RETURN VALUE
0 on success, nonzero for failure.
